“Station 3 Patch” is a piece commissioned by the Prides Corner Station of the Westbrook Fire Department. Located on Route 302, this station has been responding to emergency calls since 1966. The firehouse has a long history, starting with volunteer coverage and working its way to full-time staffing 24/7 in present day. Just down the street, you can find the Prides Corner Drive-In, which has been a nostalgic icon of Prides Corner since 1953, and is one of the last of its kind in Maine.
